Dear Diary: I Am Near To Be Invalid And I Am Deeply Worried
Whenever my parents wheel me up to the bathroom I would just guide myself after with the door handle and the railings that I had gotten installed inside the bathroom. It is because I could not walk normally due to my feet joints.
The joints somewhat dislocates so I must walk carefully so it won't cause me pain. After getting into my bed I would gently realign it so that it won't get painful when I move it on my bed.
I was just talking about my left feet and now just recently I am feeling the same pain on my right foot. I just hope to never lose my mobility entirely but if it is my fate then I would conform to the reality that my body particularly my bones are deteriorating.
My frustration is really over the roof now because I could not even do a normal body can. It was all taken from me by my disease that is seemingly impossible to solve.
I am just thankful that there is a heaven-sent community in the world that actually is helping me. Of course I am talking about the steem community because without this community I will not be able to buy my medicines.
My medicines are very expensive and not all patients can afford it but I was able to buy my Parathyroid medicine because of my friends in here. So I thank you all my dear friends in the background, you know who you all are.
Anyway, my worries are still there because anything can happen to my body, it is basically unstable, it is just God really is working on my being. I probably have some sort of mission that I do not know about in this wretched life of mine.
But I am just doing what is good to myself and others if I can so that is what I know and will strive until my end. Unfortunately I do not feel that I will gonna die soon, it is just these bones are my major heartache so I needed a lot of prayers because I am near being invalid and I am deeply worried.
You can do this my friend - we are here for you.
I can’t imagine how you’re feeling but it sounds like you have a supportive family.
What procedure would really alleviate your mobility problems?
I assume it’s a big expense?

I still wanted to seek treatment but with all these bone changes already it makes me think that it is too late. But as long as I am alive I would strive to alleviate my condition.
Parathyroidectomy is rarely done and is being done by rare surgeon too. That is why I am not seeking it until I know that I can sustain my expense for it.
That is only about Parathyroidectomy because I wanted to fix at least the inside of my mouth as well to take off the extra bone growth from it so that I can eat and speak normally and that I think is a special procedure that would incur some hefty surgery cost as well.
I hope you can alleviate your discomfort and find ways to make your life easier.
I googled Parathyroidectomy. Looks reasonably complex and expensive if not insured etc.
Does a government health service exist to service that kind of treatment where you live?
Or is it a personal cost?

I have some government health insurance but since I am using it for my dialysis I think it will still be an out of pocket expense. @ashtv
At least there’s some support there but it must be frustrating to not be able to access that care you need.
