Dear Diary: I Took My NSAID Pain Reliever Again Today

I am planning again to move and use the toilet, I must admit that I have to really use one because I needed it. It is impossible to move about when you have a hip joint issue because it is a vital part of our mobility.

I am also suffering from rib pain and I think it originated from the way I sleep which is on my left side but maybe the real cause was my backbone itself because as it continues to degenerate, the rib structure also gets affected so with little changes it makes is a big issue regarding pain now in the way I sleep.

The bad thing is that it is hard for me to sleep on my back and I just have to sleep on my side because it is my comfortable position.

I noticed that it is near impossible for me to walk now because of my hip joint issue and I find it essential for the said analgesic to be used just for me to be able to freely move my body.

I do not know what pain I will get without the use of my parathyroid medicine which only reduced the pump of that hormone in my body. It only took that lingering pain but I still am having a misery regarding my joints all over.

I thank God for pain relievers because it makes a big difference in my life by putting a small window of relief which I appreciate no matter how short-lived the pain relief it does bring.

I am so humbled by your posts sir pie. I assume your caution regarding taking medication is related to your renal function or lack thereof, but the pain you endure with minimal pain medication is incredible.
I hesitate to relate my pain issues to yours, as I think my experiences pale in comparison to yours, but I know a little bit about pelvic and rib "resting pain." The thorax is incredibly mobile (mine is anyway.) I dislocate my ribs all the time, usually while sleeping they slip.
We often think of the rib cage as fixed, but there are joints and cartilage around the rib cage that allow for movement, respiration etc.
My sacroiliac joint is pretty shredded too. About 20 yrs ago a physiotherapist showed me how to put it back when it pops out. It pops many times a day. It used to hurt but now it is the least of my problems.
Intractable pain is like hell sometimes. Do you have a better plan in place? For management and treatment? It has been so long since I really checked in with you. I disappeared into my own world. I am lying across chairs in a clinic now still trying to work through. I'm afraid it has gotten on top of me a bit. Longevity is tiresome. I need to find a cryptopie strength.
I do look to you as an inspiration. X

It is just hard @girlbeforemirror because it all adds up. Breathlessness, weakness, stiffness, hip-rib-and back pain is afflicting me especially when I have to move and use the bathroom so I have to use some pain reliever to help me move without so much pain.
My plan is to have a parathyroid surgery as my medicine seems not to work fully. It is a rare procedure here so it is I bet expensive and just trying to collect funds for it. But I might not be able to get that procedure due to my current condition but maybe if I have the money and the will it would happen.
Take care of your self and God bless and keep you.

I sent you an email, to the gmail address with the year in it.

Chronic pain is misunderstood by so many. I suffer from a nerve condition and take medication daily to help with the issue of nerves firing at unwanted times. There are several recommendations I have. A body pillow helps when you can only sleep on one side. Hot baths help and a relaxing bedtime routine also. The things I mentioned plus the use of NSAIDs can give you relief.

I hope better also dear friend. With love

It is incredible that you get to suffer from so many things at the same time is, that today hurts you something and tomorrow hurts something new and so on I hope you feel better

Dear friend, I hope that the analgesics give you enough relief. Receive my affections @cryptopie
