Diabetic patients are required to take balanced diets, not to eat more at one time, but eat at least three times a day and eat snacks in the intervals of eating.

Patients with diabetes should take good combination of protein and carbohydrate. The direct impact of carbohydrate falls on the level of blood sugar, which leads to the immediate effect of blood sugar during the digestion process. Carbohydrate gives energy to the body in the form of glucose.

Apart from this, carbohydrate is found abundantly in potato, sweet potato, peas, beet, dried fruits, raisins, crowns, bananas, oranges, grapes and all kinds of fruit, coconut, coconut water etc.

In the form of complex carbohydrates, starch is the main food item, which is found in sufficient quantity in potato, sago, rice, maize etc. Carbohydrates immediately affect blood sugar, which causes blood sugar glucose immediately after digestion.

How much carbohydrate should diabetes take



According to the Mayo Clinic, diabetic patients should take 55-60 percent of their total calorie intake from carbohydrate. Apart from this, diabetic patients should eat foods containing low glycemic index, they have glucose and go slowly into the body. Foods containing low-glycemic index include green vegetables, soya, black gram, brown rice, white egg white and beans etc. Diabetic patients should eat low-carbohydrate diet, this leads to less hunger. . Because of which the man eats less and his blood sugar level is not high. Apart from this, the weight of the man also does not increase, hence diabetes can be controlled.
