As we know that this is day which was announced by united nation on 1972 and we celeberate it from 5th June to 16 June every year all over the world. 5th June 1974 was the first celeberation day and it is continue till today. Actually united nation wanted that if we celeberate environment day every year then a positive message will pass for public and they will support to keep environment clean and green. I think it is not only celeberation day but it is a oath day instead and in this day we should take oath that we will not make dirty our environment by anyway anywhere so are you ready?

Last year it was hosted by Brazil and this year events has been started from India and the slogan/theme for this year is Beat plastic pollution and slogan of last year was wildforlife.

What is the meaning of Slogan/Theme ?

As per ritual of world environment day every year there is a serous topic/slogan/theme and world discuss on this theme only so that by implementing or destroying this environment can be clean. India is hosting this year so India has given a slogan #beatplasticpollution. Acutally public use plastic bag to carry their goods/products/vegetables etc. they keep products in safe place and throw plastic in garbage. Plastic bag can not be destroyed fully and is the main casue of environment pollution in many ways therefore in this day it is plan to find out an alternative of plastic so that environment be away from pollution.

How much plastic is danger?

As i said ablove that it can't be destroyed fully hence it could be harmfull in many ways just explaining ahead.
If we dumped it under the soil then it starts polluting the soil and when plastic gets water source then it starts polluted to water, also it is not fully flameable.
So if it could mixup in water then where is our innocent body?

It is very dangerous for drifter animals such as cow, buffalow and more, actually these animals eat garbage food spread near roadside and maximum time they eat plastic bag along with garbage food items. Knowingly and unknowingly animals eat it but after few days they die to heavy pain in stomach and it happens due to plastic only because plastic is immortal and making us ill to illness.
