Some lanzones a day, drive mosquitos away?
Has anyone heard before that burning its' peeling can drive mosquitos away? I came across this while researching of the fruit's benefits and I must say that this is quite intriguing. How true? This was mentioned in an article, i need to do more research on this to be believable. IF there's no truth on this one, the smell of this fruit is heavenly. IF there's some truth to it, perhaps we can use them to drive those DENGUE-carrier away!
It's only August so this fruit is hard to find as they usually come out during November and December in the Philippines, this variety came from abroad.

Mind you, it might simply be the smoke that drives mosquitos away. I think that's fairly well documented. 😊
The smoke will be sweet mind, like potpourri? But let me test the smell..if its a driving force..errr i wouldn't know. Perhaps i'll do more research on it😂🤣

Haha..now that we are in the province..the people here have not seen the sun and have forgotten what it looks like. We need to dry those peels like potpourri.
It has been like that the last couple of days here too @immarojas but the sun is shining again this morning and, hopefully, if it lasts we'll be able to go to the beach this afternoon.

As it happens it clouded over after lunch so we didn't make it to the beach in the end @immarojas. It's very humid again so we could do with a bit more rain I think.
I've been buying some Steem while the price is low. I think the @gillianpearce account effect has gone to my head a bit. 😂
It looks like it's still pretty low so I might buy a bit more this evening.
Rain is less frequent today..which is good as some roads were almost unpassable.
