Is DANDELION a WEED? or an EATABLE HERB? With Amazing HEALTH BENEFITS.

As a matter of fact you can eat an entire dandelion; the leaves, roots, the stem and the flower which you can eat raw, boiled or infused into a tea. People also have incorporated dandelions by making a dandelion wine, or in a coffee-like drinks by grinding the roots, my mom also makes the best honey from the dandelions which I will share a recipe some other time if you like.
The dandelion greens which have somewhat a bitter flavor, can be also used as an addition to a sauce or used as a garnish or cooked to minimize the bitter flavor.
These dandelions greens contain IRON which is crucial for the generation of the red blood cells, CALCIUM, VITAMIN B6, VITAMIN C, MANGANESE, POTASSIUM** which helps regulate blood pressure and regulates the heart rate, RIBOFLAVIN, and THIAMIN.

Dandelion provides us with Calcium which is beneficial for protecting our bones, MUSCLE TENSION, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, CALCIOUM DEFICIENCY, avoid TOOTH DECAY by eating the greens or by drinking the dandelion tea.
Vitamin K helps to maintain a healthy metabolism and brain function and it is also amazing for building bones stronger and better than calcium.

In Slovenia, in spring we eat young leaves like a first season's salad simply with oil, vinegar, and salt.
