Luis has been a huge proponent of kratom. Kratom has been called a miracle plant by many as countless people use it as an alternative to pharmaceuticals including everything from pain killers to energy boosters and anti-depressants.
While it has helped a lot of people, of course government has not been kind to it as we've seen in a large area of the alternative medicine world.
Bans have sprung up in many US states and of course many US cities which begs the question, why?
Well, freedom lovers usually do the opposite of what the government says, there's no doubt about that. Prohibition leads to a black market (or a free market) one way or another.
But of course there is still largely a legal market for kratom and Luis Mises sells the product in places where there are not restrictions.
Of course it's important to acknowledge that kratom doesn't work for everyone. Some people can't stand it. But the vast majority of people who use it have very positive experiences with the sister plant of coffee.
