undertanding the difference between CARDIAC ARREST , HEART ATTACK AND HEART FAILURE
Cardiac Arrest, Heart Attack and Heart Failure are all life-threatening medical emergencies. Many people are confused about the three, while others interchange them.
Medically speaking, they have their differences as I will be discussing them one after the other. When we know and understand the differences, it will probably help us to save lives.
CARDIAC ARREST
This is a medical condition that occurs when the the heart as a whole stops beating. It might start from abnormal breathing which involves agonal respiration, gasping or not breathing at all.
It is important that one should contact a medical personnel to administer CPR if need arises to the person suffering from it. If not properly check-mate, the person might die within minutes.
HEART ATTACK
THis happens when one of the coronary arteries becomes block. This eill robbed thr heart muscle of its vital blood supply and getting enough oxygen.
It will also cause a section of the heart muscle to start to die. A technical term for heart attack is Myocardial Infarction
HEART FAILURE
This is a condition that occurs when the heart muscle doesnt pump enough blood as it should to the rest of the body. It can affect either of the heart (right or the left) sides or both.
- when the right side is affected, it means the right ventricle of the heart pumping function is lose.
- the left side also shows the ability of the heart to pump oxygenated blood it receives from the lungs is decreased.
With this few tips, hope i impacted something to somebody...

Thanks for visiting
To say the fact, me think of the three being almost the same. I had no knowledge about the difference between them. Now I know, thanks to you.
Appreciated....welcome
Well, it's more complicated than that, but yeah, sure.
It doesn't necessary so. It can also mean that the pulmonary artery was affected which would cause blood to be accumulated in the right ventricle. There are a few other reasons why the heart failed to operate like it supposed to. Like I said, it is complicated.
Thanks... Its a welcome addition
