1 Corinthians 15:58

Once we get to the ways of God, we have recognized that Jesus is our savior, and that there is no other name in heaven or earth where we can be saved, and we live with him in our hearts, there is no better advice than this, that you should be "firm, constant and growing", this advice is found in the first letter of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthian church in chapter 15 verse 58 when the letter is about to end.

It is a wonderful counsel for a church that has received many precious things "were enriched in all things in God, in every word, and in all knowledge, as well as in the testimony and in addition they lacked no gift" 1 Corinthians 1: 4- 7, but unfortunately neglected in elementary principles and allowed in their individual and collective lives the division, gossip, sin, fights, problems in marriage, did not understand the biblical principles, disrespected the authority, abused the dinner of the Lord, of the gifts, among others.

That is why the apostle is trying to re-indoctrinate them, to advise them, to disciple them, to remove the disorder and bring a new order.
In the meeting a world of riches of all kinds was obtained "they were enriched in all things in God, in every word, and in all knowledge, as well as in witness and spiritual gifts", but we must do our part so that the gifts, revelations, wisdom, advice and ministrations that we receive there will not be lost.

Three tips that will bless your life:
1.- firm:
The word firm in the dictionary says: "solid layer of the ground on which you can build, build, build". We will build a life, Christianity is a way of life, we must build it with time, but that building that is our own life that we have to build from here on must have the best foundation to guarantee a solid and constant growth . It is necessary to be firm in: your decisions, your convictions, and your vocation and choice.

2.-Constants:
The constant word in the dictionary says: "invariable element, permanent element, what remains through the changes", in the life of a true Christian you have to develop new habits (pray, read the Bible, congregate, overcome the temptation , testify among others) Once you start you can not vary in this, you can not have highs and lows, until the day of our graduation that will be when we are in the arms of the savior. You have to be persistent, constant and do not do this based on our emotions, or in the circumstances but as a good habit that is part of our convictions in which we are unable to give. One must be constant in: Obedience to the word. Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass but the word will not pass"
Remember Saint Paul says in Romans 12:12 "joyful in hope, suffered in tribulation, constant in prayer"

3.-Growing:
Growth is part of nature, and must be part of each person, one must grow in everything, personally, family, academic financial ... if we want to live a healthy life we must live growing, the Bible urges us to grow, He challenges us, he orders us. At least we grow in the work of the Lord always, in faith and in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Excellent reflection @xiore, our goal as Christians is to grow to adopt the character of Christ.
