In search for God means that you need help from God because you are out of your own limit and strength, so you need higher power for the solution to your problem. In my life, this is the time I also think about God. I have a big problem on hand and no one can solve this. What about God? That is when there is an urge to search for God incessantly.
PK is stuck with a problem on hand as his remote control got stolen and now he can't get back home. Well, I experience this so many times too. He is frantic. He asks everyone how to get back to the planet and people tell him: you need God's help.
Well, have you been told that you need God's help? I have. But we don't know where to begin to get God's help. How do you find God? That is precisely a journey that we all need to take to search for God. And when I watch this PK movie, it seems to be the entire theme of this alien searching for God.
This matter of searching for God seems so self explanatory but not so. Where do you go to search for God? Do you pray? Do you go to church? Which church do you go to? Which religion points you to God? Do all religions point you to God? These are the questions I would ask. These are the questions asked by PK in the movie.
