It's hard being a farmer. Lots of people are saying they are going to do well.

$200,000 a day man... Let's pay people $15 an hour man... And have them teach us...

Well....

Just saying. That's not how things work out in the real world.

But yeah. This year is killing some people.

Yep. Wild times in the industry.

Forgive my naive question. I won't learn, unless I ask somebody on the inside. What is it like working in an industry where the owners of the farms are all potentially high on a regular basis? I am trying to think of the nicest way to ask. It's gotta be shocking for people outside of the culture to interact with people who run various poor quality and high quality operations. Have you encountered any farms where drug testing is required, or actively ensures that workers are not high on a regular basis?

Lolz...

My farm? You could blaze all day... No real issues.

Now the next 2 farms next door? Meth and other drugs. Drinking on the job. Driving and 4 wheelers while high. Fights in the fields. People quitting.

So depends on which farm. And who is the boss. And what they are willing to deal with.
