RECHARGEABLE LED LANTERN.......MY HIKING LIGHT IN THE DARK!!!!
Hi guys! This is a product review of a rechargeable LED lantern that I purchased last year and used all winter long on our hikes. This lantern puts out 700 lumens on high power and will last 4 hours on a charge. If you drop it to medium power, it puts out 129 lumens and will last 21 hours per charge. If you put it on low power, it puts out 11 lumens and lasts an amazing 275 hours per charge.
This lantern recharges with a normal droid cell phone charger, which is included. Our winter hikes in the dark here in the Northwest, are about 2.5 hours. I always run this on high and has never failed me. The 700 lumens are quite bright; enough so that my better half complains of my blinding her if I get the lantern in her peripheral line of sight. Kind of a slow recharge; but by the time we go to bed for the evening, it's recharged. It has a red indicator light showing it's charging and it turns green when fully charged.
All in all a very good lantern. I've even used this to work under the car. So here we are again heading into the dark of winter. If you guys head out on nighttime hikes in the winter, this is an excellent choice and saves tons of money on batteries!
We really like the extra light; we usually have 2 or 3 lights with us as we hike in big cat territory. Everyone be safe and enjoy winter hiking. @silvertop

howdy sir silvertop! hey this looks like a good one and I like the fact that it's so light weight and the cord stores in the bottom so you don't lose it. I'd buy a couple of 'em!
