This was the street entrance to Clara Bow's IT Café at the Hollywood Plaza Hotel. Fans expected to see Clara at her café, and they did. While Clara appeared at her restaurant and bar often when it first opened, she was there less and less later on. The café closed in 1943. (Photo 1937)

The Hollywood Plaza still exists. Today, however, the building is a low income retirement residence.
