President Sukarno turned out to have predicted General Soeharto would be his successor president. The source of the story was from Ki Utomo Darmadi, a retired TNI-captain.

He happened to know a lot of history, because he was in the circle of a palace. He became a soldier in 1945, this retired was the younger brother of Peta's hero, Suprijadi.

The prediction was told by Roso Daras in his book Total Bung Karno. In the book, Ki Utomo recounts the events of 1963 which he said that Bung Karno had predicted that Harto would replace him as the second president.

This is what Tomi Darmadi mentioned as a sign that Pak Harto will be president. "In the context of the territorial leader, what is the governor above? Yes president, "he said.
