And Earendil left Gondolin. People who fled Gondolin have settled in the Sirion Valley. Earendil has been the leader of the people living here. And Earendil married Elwing. Earendil built Vingilot, his famous ship. As Earendil traveled in the sea, Feanor's sons attacked Sirion. And in this war the sons of Earendil were taken captive by their enemies. Earendil, who learned this, along with Elwing, has left the middle earth and went to the immortal lands.
