Metal search at bunkers from the 2nd World War

When we visited @raypelsteeltje and his wife yesterday at the campsite we also visited a bunker. A bunker from the 2nd world war. There you can often find many antiquities of that time. I am talking about the time around 1940.


The bunkers are located in a wooded area and it is very nice to walk there. And it will be extra exciting if the metal detector goes along!

Especially the children enjoyed themselves well. In the end we have a bullet casing, an old piece of barbed wire and something that we think was found to be a shrapnel.




But soon we all got hungry and left again to the campsite where we had a delicious piece of meat from the bbq.

The weather was also fantastic so this day is suitable to repeat!
