• The German ambassador to Moscow, Wilhelm Graf von Mirbach-Harff, pays around 3 million marks to Russian Bolsheviks in the government to stand against the Bolsheviks' overrun of the Allies. The bribes will be increased to 40 million marks by the Reich Treasury in the course of the month.
