  • The new commander-in-chief of the German armed forces in Ukraine, Colonel-General Günther Graf von Kirbach, arrives in Kiev. His predecessor, Hermann von Eichhorn, had been murdered in July.

  • The military authorities in the western regions of the German Reich once again urge the population to comply with the precautionary measures for air raids. The carelessness of the population leads again and again to unnecessary personal injury.

  • The "Berlin Fashion Week" is ceremoniously opened in the Imperial Hall of the Zoological Garden in Berlin. The host, the German fashion industry association, is particularly proud that many neutral states have accepted the invitation to Berlin.
