📷 The Victory Day! Happy holiday! Photos of the war years

Hello, Steemians! Hi, friends! Today our country celebrates Victory day! I congratulate all of you on your holiday! And I want to continue to show pictures of the war years, the photos of which I made at the exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of our city from the Nazis.

Many works devoted to the transmission of the image of the heroes of those events. I was impressed by the "Portrait Of the hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Geraskina" brush Yuri Bogdanov. The painting was painted in 1945. This man, guard Lieutenant Colonel, our countryman, who went through the war and returned victorious to his native land.

During the occupation of Krasnodar for six months were destroyed:

161 enterprises, 119 outlets, 3 theaters, 6 clubs, 17 schools, 5 institutes, 3 hotels, 4 hospitals, 20 kindergartens, 3 tram parks, water supply, power station, more than 600 houses...

In the war years, the fighters saved news from home and, of course, their fighting friends and girlfriends. Krasnodar artist Nikolai Zakharov painted such a simple still life, which he called "Front-line friends" (1980).

But really, to think that these items and was always there with the soldiers at the front road: squeeze, stick, Cape, cap, what else was the fighter? Probably, the confidence and the will to win, bravery and courage.

At the cost of his life, but for future generations. For us, who sometimes forget how difficult it was in those war years to live, work and defend our lands.

Below you can see a bronze model of the monument to the Cossacks, the sculpture by Oleg kolomoytsev, made in 1977 (the monument was erected in front of the city administration). I'll tell you about this place soon.

And this is a bronze sculpture of an honorary citizen of our city Evdokia Davydovna bershanskaya, made by sculptor Alexandra Apollonova. The Germans were afraid that the pretty woman, called her "night witch"! She was the commander of the 46th Taman guards women's aviation regiment.

In Krasnodar, on the square near the airport, there is an impressive monument to the one who risked his life every day to do the impossible, destroying more and more enemy aircraft.

Below is a picture of the artist Pyotr Ruzheynikov "Introduction of the red parts in Krasnodar February 12, 1943" was written after the war in 1947, but most of the important details are clearly visible. The people rejoice. And the elderly and women with kids — every single one ran into the streets, happy and proud liberators.

In besieged Krasnodar children for months sat in apartments, afraid to go outside. One boy wrote in the essay the following:

On red the street, in cinemas, theatres, stores appeared calligraphy: "only for Germans." Not being able to evacuate, it is with sadness and vengeance looked at the steel helmets and green uniforms that have held sway in the city.

The Nazis were driven from our land the ordinary Soviet people who breast rose to defend their country. This painting is called "Gunner" (1985), belongs to the brush of Victor Gubin.

The artist himself was a participant in that war, he painted many paintings. This painting is called" Soldiers " (1964). Tired, hungry, but still they try to cheer themselves up, sing, play the balalaika, anticipating an early victory over the enemy.

This painting is called "a Volume of Pushkin" (1947) and was written by artist-Illustrator Alexander by Glukhovtsev.

Pay attention to the work of Victor Rat "Between the battles". Was a brief respite, and the hours of rest, the men recalled the beloved heart of the place and the peaceful, uncomplicated life. In winter birch forest is still quiet, and you can paint...

At the stands it was possible to get acquainted with photos of those years, to see portraits of war heroes, to read their letters addressed to relatives and friends, to learn about the feelings and experiences of these people.

It seems to me that this is not just an exhibition, but a tribute to the memory and respect of those heroes-liberators who spared no lives and defended their native land. Thanks to all the soldiers and officers who did not think about the fame and the awards, and had covered his body embrasure of the enemy's machine guns.
