history: Punta Cruz Watchtower
Hello steemians.
Today, I would like to share a history about this Punta Cruz Watchtower, Maribojoc, Bohol
The christian community of Maribojoc built this sturdy tower so that they can see if some boat is coming. They built this tower in triangular design in order to see the broad side of the sea. So they could warn the community if danger is coming before the marauders could reach the shores.
During the earthquake in 2013, the tower was damaged. Brought the tower fall into the ground, but through the courage of the people, they rebuilt the tower into its original design.
Restored and rebuilt into more study tower.
Inside the tower there's an altar of the Saint Vincent Ferrer.

It is very relaxing when you reach the top.
