The historic meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un (North Korea) has just been held in Singapore. In the meeting, Trump is committed to providing security guarantees for the North, while Kim reaffirms his strong commitment to resolve the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Having acknowledged that the first US-DPRK summit in history - an epic event of great significance and overcoming decades of tension and hostility between the two countries and for the opening of a new future, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong-Un committed to implementing the provisions in this joint statement is complete and fast. The US and the DPRK are committed to a follow-up negotiation led by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and high-ranking officials in the DPRK, to implement the outcomes of the US-DPRK Summit.

Trump and Chairman of Korea's Foreign Affairs Commission for Democratic Affairs Kim Jong-Un is committed to working together for new developments in US-DPRK relations and for the promotion of peace, prosperity and security of the Korean Peninsula and the world.

The US and DPRK are committed to forming new US-DPRK relationships as per the will of the people of both countries for peace and prosperity.
The US and the DPRK will combine their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Reaffirming the Panmunjom Declaration on April 27, 2018, the DPRK is committed to working towards the full denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
The US and DPRK are committed to finding the bodies of prisoners of war / lost in duty, including the immediate repatriation of identifiable bodies.
