Great migration of peoples and migration of people: causes and consequences

The phenomena and processes occurring in the life of society are due to the most complex relationships between individuals with each other, some peoples with others, people with nature, established by customs and social order.

Resettlement of peoples in ancient times and modern migration of the population have common roots, which lie not only in the economic and social conditions of life, but also in the mentality of representatives of different nationalities, educational level, religious beliefs, culture, worldview, and natural phenomena.

When we talk about the beginning of something, it will always be a half-truth or a deliberate lie, because any starting phenomenon or process is preceded by some reasons that are hidden from understanding, and also often distorted in order to indulge someone's interests. To such processes, it is incomprehensible with what began, is the Great Migration of Nations.

Historians explain this term lasting from IV to VII century of our era, the targeted movement of peoples from one place to another, sometimes distant by hundreds and thousands of kilometers. This period coincides with the beginning of the collapse of the slaveholding formation and the beginning of the formation of a new - feudal, called the early Middle Ages.

The beginning of the Great Migration of Peoples in historical science is considered to be the year 354, when hordes of Huns invaded the territory of Eastern Europe. Where did the Huns come from? It was a mighty nomadic tribe of the Hunn (the self-name of nomadic horsemen), which carried out constant raids on Chinese territories several centuries before our era and at the beginning of our era. Gradually, the strength of the nomads weakened and the tribe disintegrated into 4 branches. One of them is the northern branch, which was displaced from the settled places by stronger tribes farther to the west, until one part reached the northern part of the Caucasus, where it met the Alans and was pushed back to the west; and the other - went to the Urals, where it was very affably met by the local inhabitants - the Ugrians, with which the Huns were later assimilated and given the name to the people inhabiting the northern part of eastern Europe.
