I hope you all had a great day, it's great reconnecting again in this community as we are already into the week2 of the engagement challenge and I will happily be dropping down me week2 contests in this community today. The contest is talking About My Country. I wish you a happy read as you are able knowing very well how I will always prefer my country to any other country
Let's get started,
From the flag above, you will get to know that I come from Cameroon. It is headed by Paul Biya as president and Joseph Diongote as Prime minister who is also regarded as head the government. Cameroon alongside with Canada are the only Bilingual Countries that speaks two official language which are English and French. Cameroon official currency is FCFA (Franc of the French Community of Africa). Cameroon has over 240 languages and In terms of ethnicity, Cameroon is made up of more than 240 villages and they all fall under 3 main ethnic groups such as Sudanese, Bantus and Semi-bantus
Cameroon is bordered by four countries. To Northwest is bordered by our closes neighbor Nigeria, To the South is bordered by both Equitoria Guinea/Gabon, to Northeast is bordered by Chad, Southwest is bordered by the Atlantic ocean and to the Southeast which is bordered by Congo republic. Cameroon Is one of the countries in Central African republic which is the only African republic country with the name African In-miniature because of its diversities in economic, culture socialism and literacy rate in the whole of West Africa
Cameroon flag is made up of 3 beautiful colours with with significant meanings. The colours are Green, Red and Yellow and a golden star at the middle of the flag. The significance of the green color green forests in the country, the significance of the Red color is peace and unity, the significance of the yellow color is sunshine and savannah . the golden Star is signifying star of unity. The moto of Cameroon is Peace Work Fatherland. The Cameroon national house was established when Cameroon got independent from France in early 1960.Two presidents have headed Cameroon. The first President to head Cameroon was late Ahmadou Ahidjo whom headed For 22years from 1960 to 1982 and the current president mow is Paul Biya who have been heading Cameroon from 1982 to present date, almost 40 years now
When you hear of Cameron please don't hesitate to think of coming to visit our country because it's an amazing country with a alot of things which everyone will love to come and visit. I will write down some good reasons why I will love that you should pay us a visit here in Cameroon because I Know it will interest everyone
When we talk of natural resources, Cameroon is one of the best, if not, then the best country I'm the whole of West Africa with so much rich abundant natural resources starting from the luxuriant green forest in South Cameroon that has home to thousands of fauna and also has millions of plant species, the Gold and Bauxite found in East Cameroon, a very rich Mountain and Volcanic soil found in Western highlands and a rich petroleum deposits which is found in the south west part of Cameron
With all this abundant Natural Resources found all over Cameroon, it has lead to high employment opportunities to for the youths and skilful people, it has also lead to so many foreign investors to be attracted in visiting my country because of the infinite and unfathomable riches my country posseses in terms of abundant natural resources
Cameroon is also considered one of the best countries in west Africa with very rich biodiversity because it has over 300 species of animals and over 900 species of birds. Cameroon has a variety of wild life and home trained animals which are loving, caring and friendly

As usual, Cameroon is made up of very rich and diverse cultural heritage because we have over 240 ethnic groups with different rich cultures because of the different messages they always carry along during cultural manifestations hence making our diversified cultures to be very unique since they have a common bond and translate messages in thesame way that has same meaning but in different languages. Since we are in a bilingual country, the e bond between the two official languages(English and French) bring us together because of the unifying nature of this two languages.
Since we are the only African country with two official languages, it has made us to be open to the world which has in turn lead to attraction from foreigners. Cameroon has very beautiful cultural dressing that also attracts people outside the world

When talking of cuisines, Cameroon is the country with the most varied and good cuisines in the whole of West Africa. What makes this so strong is as a result of how French legacy had a strong influence by making cuisines to vary region by region and tribe by tribe. In Cameroon, we have a very large common one-course evening dish across the entire regions and this common dishes are usually made out of either, millet beer, rice, potatoes, yams, beans, corn, plantains, palm wine, cassava. All this cuisine places are relatively attractive because of how the various dishes tast there.
When talking of meals eaten in Cameroon, I can say Cameroon has so many dishes and each ethnic groups has their dishes and the way they prepared it. In Northwest, the most common dishes are fufu corn and huckleberry, Achu and yellow soup. In the Southwest, the most common dish prepare is Ekwang, water fufu and errow. In the Franco regions, their most common meal is bobolo and egusssi, Poulet D. G
Out of all the above things, I prefer Cameroon over other country because of the following reasons
Rich and diversity of cultural heritage. Though Cameroon has over 240 ethnic groups with over 240 languages, we still have a common believe and this keep us united and stronger 💪 because the different languages and cultures still boils down to one thing
In terms of biodiversity, Cameroon has over 300 species of animals and over 900 species of birds, it has bountiful hotels, Beaches, has one of the most tallest mountains in Africa, has a good and favourable conditions that can favor foreigners and visitors
In terms of food diversity, Cameroon has one of the most delicious recipes in Africa because of its numerous dishes and how it's prepared
In terms of languages, Cameroon has over 240 ethnic groups with different languages and to good part of it is that Cameroon is the only Bilingual Country in Africa that speaks the world most famous languages which are English and French. This has attracted alot of visitors into my country
Living my Country in search of greener pastures have always been my dream. Though Cameroon is a home to be because of its numerous advantages, it is always good to experience life some where else and that is my wish. This doesn't means I won't return to my home. I love my country with all my heart, so even if I'm out of home, I will always have plans of Coming back because of my love for my nation and most especially my love for my family and true friends. I have a very good family here In Cameroon as well as good friends who are already like family to me. Due to this, I will never in any way live my country for good, I will always have plans of returning back home because there is no place like home🥰

The bond we have with family and friends can't be traded. No matter how far we go we will surely return back to our loved ones. They are that home we refer to. Reading through your entry tempted me to become a cameroonian but am not sure am ready to become one,the blood on my inside is green.😃

However, at thesame time I won't accept because of the family you already have in Nigeria, so it will be totally unfair to leave them and be with us in Cameroon... I love this aspects went you were talking about cuisine ,went it came to various dishes cameroon is the best in the hole of west africa and most of this thing has really attracted many people from all over the world to.alway look up to our country and this aspect couple with the difference resources we are having dispite the fact that the are mostly in little quantity make us african imminature. All this aspect prom to attract turism in our nation.

You are right man, a good country citizen will never leave his country for good should he Incase travel, except for otherwise case which may only be the available option for them. A good citizen will always love to return back to his nation no matter,, some will go extra miles in bringing in new development into his country

I love this phrase no place is better than home. It's no doubt that our beloved mother land is blessed with a variety of abundance natural resources and cuisine.
In terms of cuisine, I know Cameroonians are very creative because they can make 5 dishes of just one main good eaten elsewhere.
Oh yes! No matter the crisis ongoing nowadays, I will still chose my country over and over again.
We're are not just gifted in the cultural aspects but we very hard-working too.
If I happen to travel in search of greener pasty, I think the main reason is for me to * brain gained* what's in the outside country to come and help my country too.

Like seriously there is no place like home my dear. We are proud Cameroonians and we should be thankful to that no matter what might be happening to our country at this present moment such as this crises. It is not normal for a country like ours and I believe it will soon stop

Cameroon is another great nation in Africa continent that is admired by so many individuals and their government.
Although the also face security challenges just as other nations but it's a lovely place to be, I have a lot about Cameroon and I would love to visit and see Cameroon with my own eyes.
Another reason I would love to visit Cameroon is because it is he to so many beautiful wildlife and I really love wildlife.

Yes you are right bro, most especially as we are the only Bilingual Country in Africa and only two of us exist which is Canada. We also have a biodiversity of culture and believes, beautiful Beaches, the 3rd highest Mountain in Africa, zoo's and green forests which all attracts visitors including you
