Sources claim that Beijing pressured the Hong Kong government to adopt the Emergency Act (see photo) and enforce the Anti-Mask Law.
The pro-Beijing camp has just announced the establishment of an "Anti-Mask Law Lobbying Campaign" in a press conference.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive will hold a special meeting of her de facto cabinet, the Executive Council tomorrow. According to the sources, this meeting will be held to discuss the implementation of the ban.
