Quadruplets for the First Time!!!

There is always something exciting and new happening on the farm. Two days ago we had a first in eight years of raising goats. We have never had a doe have quadruplets. Now we have. She is one of our original does eight years old and for the first time had a set of quadruplets. They were all white two boys and two girls.

I kept looking around for another mom but none was found. She had them all by herself and took care of them all really well. Last night we took one away from her and will bottle feed it. Three babies are a lot to take care of so we didn’t want to push it with four.

This kidding season has been a lot of fun and exciting. You never know what you will find when you go out to check on the goats. Thank you for following along. Have a wonderful day.
