Baby Quail and Quail Eggs, how is that for a freak monster Quail egg as well as a Texas A and M (white quail)

Hey everyone, on my recent visit to my Dad @quailbreeder I took a few pics of his Quail and eggs. On this particular night Dad collected the usual clutch of Quail eggs to be surprised by this monster ' freak' of a quail egg.

The regular size egg is on the left, what happened and why the Jumbo apparently at times it happens. Dad once showed my a chicken egg which was almost 30% bigger than the normal eggs he usually gets, Freak of nature for sure..

Here we have his three week olds in their brooder all snug and overseeing proceedings.

Inquisitive much they certainly are..

Quail eggs are exceptionally pretty here I took a few pics of his daily collection..

Talking of freaks of nature this Quail also has a little of a different look.
