Dead Computer, Painted Truck, Giving Haircuts... what a great day :)
My apologies for not getting the contest done this week yet. I promise it will get done. Life is super duper busy right now, yet today I thought I would have time to pick a winner for the contest and maybe even edit some video.
However, my computer that is normally very reliable decided to poop out on me. No matter what I did it wouldn't finish booting up. This called for a trip to the Mac specialists at MacTLC.
It turns out that the hard drive is bad. The repair will take several days. It's a good thing that I have backups of all my data both onsite and off. It's no fun losing old files!
So, without a computer I was certainly not going to be able to do any editing. Other activities were on the list. One thing that needed done (or that I wanted to do) was to paint the hood of that old farm truck. Here it is one rattle can later!
Another task that has long been put off was giving Luke a haircut. All the ladies (mom included) really don't want to see Luke's FLOW to go... so I'm just giving him a light trim.
I guess for a few days I'll just act like I don't do video... well, except for my Live Show tomorrow! I'm looking forward to that.
Life happens while you are living it!
my friend. I hope everything went well. It makes me very happy to see Luke's face with a smile that happiness of his son is priceless.
I like your truck, that color my wife loves.
Greetings from Venezuela
Thanks for this report. My friend, I see that you have a forced vacation (this is a joke) :-)
I hope that soon you can solve these things.
Luke looks very good, I'm happy for him.
Take it easy. We will continue here.
Regards.
Too bad when a hard drive get damaged and we loose valuable data. Very good you had a backup. I didn't know we could paint a car that way. Nice smile at the hairdresser. I'll try to be in the live show. I think I can see part of it.
I was a Mac user and evangelist for then years. After my last Mac died on me I switched to cheaper, old laptops with Linux. With the debacle, buying a Mac is impossible even for the well todo. I miss some things like text to speech, but life is good with Linux.
You'll have to post a photo of Luke's new do! Hope you didn't trim too much off the poor lad! I kind of like it a little on the longer side...
