Swiss balcony update: green (thumb) is showing
13 days ago I wrote this post on getting my balcony ready for summer and planting my herbs.
I know I mostly post about crypto and meetups but this is another hobby of mine so I will make some posts now and again about my balcony bounty as well.

So today I wanted to give you a small update with some before and after pictures. It really is amazing how nature works and it gives a nice feeling to be able to grow things to enjoy them later. I guess with spring in the air my green thumb is working overtime and it is showing some results for it...
But as you can see, putting them out in the rain for a bit of nourishing water helps and these plants have been growing fast and furious (yea, I know I have to repaint the table, you do not have to tell me)
Pretty soon we will start to recognise what they actually are (I forgot to label the pots)
And in the other boxes, the salad is really starting to shoot up... we will get plenty of it ready for lunch soon enough
I took the variety that can be cut and grows back 4 or 5 times... So that makes a planter a bit more efficient for salad
Really looking forward to that.

yea ,that ladder is cool, i have one in the kitchen as well for winter (the do not survive but last a bit longer then outside)

yea I have great luck with mint, basil not so much, tends to need warmer climate i guess

Lookin like a very nice balcony! You'll enjoy the greens for sure. It's nice to see people growing food in small spaces.
Nice rooftop garden. The only thing I could recognize was basil and maybe some mint. Another week and everything should be more defined. Thanks for sharing your garden with us. 🐓🐓

That's a nice setup for getting a lot of plants on a balcony! Vertical growing looks so good in my opinion :) And good luck finding out what everything is. I've forgotten labels myself, and it's always exciting to try to figure out what is what.
