Gardening Hacks : Things You Should Try out in the Garden

It seems like the watering the plant manually is time consuming. You can make use of the bottle with the water, such as say coke bottle. You can also use the wine bottle in case if the plant is larger. And then bottle will slowly drip the water into the soil. And the plants can take the water as needed. Make sure to put the bottle properly. The reason being you can see that the dripping speed may go fast or slow. So make sure to properly adjust that in the soil.

Raised Bed

I heard a lot of people complaining about the ground pests. And to avoid that certain extent, you can make use of the raised bed plantation option. You can find out various types of the raised bed option. There seems to be plenty of youtube videos where you can see gardeners and homesteaders recommending the raised bed planters. I have also tried one at my apartment place. It's not that easy to maintain no matter how small the size can be in that context. You can check out one good tutorial here.

Epsom Salt

Another thing I have learned about the garden which may not be applicable to all regions. The reason being adding the Epsom Salt into the soil may not suit all the conditions. Like the soil nearby the ocean, already has the issues with the salt in the air. Such salt in other soils may reduce the pests and also improves seed germination. Do note that the water absorption in the soil will increase after that. So you may want to use the salt in alternate years and not to add it on seasonal basis.
