Learning how to tie a knot always helps in the camping and trails. You can see that those who learn these skills can find themselves ahead in many odd situations off the grid. Unlike city regions, you won't be getting the help from others in such situations. So knowing how to tie a knot is lot useful. You may find this especially useful in the farms or the places where you keep the animals. So learn this skill if you plan to live off grid.
