FIELD DAY - WHEN YOU TRY TO SHOW OFF YOUR NEW PASTURE AND THE ANIMALS HAVE ESCAPED
Oops!
Things happen kind of low around here since I work on so many things at a time. Recently, I just about got the back pasture fenced in. Since I wanted to put some of the animals in it, I just finished the last part with a temporary trick, and figured I'd head back to finish it for real soon enough.
Yesterday was the day, but as I was heading over to actually complete the job, I decided to make a video and show it off. Much to my surprise, only a few sheep were left and everyone else had escaped. Thankfully, they only made it next door to the homestead of @bluerthangreen & @allforthegood, and I was able to get them back into my pasture easily enough. Lesson learned.

Ha ha ha, that cracked me up. It's nice you're able to own up to your mistakes and even find the humor in it. It's funny to watch them all come running when you rattle the bucket. I think humans can be a lot like that too.
Hey, you got your lost sheep back! I wonder if that will come up in any other posts soon. :)
LOL - Get the reference there! Nice one!
I'm glad you "caught" that. I was worried that it was going to get past you. As we learned from the snake videos though, you're fast so not many things get by you.
Reminds me of a "Guardians of the Galaxy" quote.
That was really close thought they had gone,
Well nice one you got them back ensure keeping them safe.
Rambo will NOT be contained!!! hahahaha!
well done @papa-pepper,
this is a great work,
i admire your talnt to care the animals .
greetings from venezuela.
Well, at least they didn't go far, just visiting the neighbours! It could have been worse and they take off for town! LOL
