A Typical Day On The Homestead in 5 Minutes (VIDEO)
When I was in college, I used to draw comics for Hourly Comic Day, a worldwide experiment where artists document their day through drawing a little panel for every hour they were awake. But now that I'm a homesteader, I thought it would be interesting to document what our typical day looks like, an hour at a time. It's amazing, what every day holds, and this is just the stuff we got on film!

Love that outdoor oven. We will get one built sometime. LOL
Ever since we've made wood-fired pizza, we've never been able to think about any other pizza, haha! It was such a long time coming (we'd been planning to have a wood-fired oven even when we lived in the city). Lots of inital work, but worth it!
What a cute chicken coop! Nice!
Isn't it?? My husband designed and built it, and it suits our little "flock" of four hens just right. We'll have another, bigger one once our chicks are grown, but that won't be for a bit yet.

Hahah, they are my husband's go-to work shoes, though he certainly brought out the steel-toed boots when it came to felling the trees in the first place. Thanks so much for watching! We always appreciate your support. :)

Busy, but satisfying day by the looks of it!
Every day is pretty busy (except for the sabbath we take every week!) but we LOVE it. It's such a change from our old lives--satisfying is a great way to describe it.
