It may not always be correct to insist on yourself.
Maybe you are right, but what you insist may hurt someone.
Or you may have a job you want to do.
It is right to insist on what you want to do, just that there are jobs which nobody wants to do but need to be done.
You may be the one who needs to do such a job.

Maybe you face a situation which you cannot simply insist on yourself.
Maybe you need to take over a job you don't want to do.

Most of the time it's correct to reach an agreement by exchanging insistence.
But it may not be so this time.
Maybe he/she has a secret and cannot tell it.
For example, your son is grown up, and you want him to marry so you tell him "You should go and find a partner.".
He is reluctant to follow what you tell him maybe because he is in a secret love about which he cannot tell you.

Maybe what you insist is correct.
But what is required this time is that you need to wait and see how it goes.
Being correct doesn't mean that you can force other people to take your idea.
If you are to take over a job you don't like, maybe you should think of using IT and automizing it.
Or maybe try to come up with an idea which makes the job interesting.

あなたの主張で傷つく人がいるのかもしれない。
あなたにやりたいことがあって。
それを貫き通すことが常に正しいわけではないのかもしれない。
世の中、誰もがやりたくないと同時に、でも誰かがやらなければいけない仕事がたくさんある。
あなたがやらなければ、誰もやらないのかもしれない。

ひょっとしたら、主張が憚れる状況に陥るのかもしれない。
ひょっとしたら、上司、同僚、家族等から、気の進まない仕事を引き継ぐのかもしれない。

妥協と譲歩といえば聞こえは悪いけれど。
今、相手が必要としていることなのかもしれない。
お互い主張し、真正面から主張を戦わせようとしても。
相手にはそれができない理由があるのかもしれない。
例えば、あなたの適齢期の子供に「結婚しろ。なぜ恋人を作らないのか」と主張してみても。
あなたの子供には、あなたには伝えらえない、秘めた恋があるのかもしれない。

あなたの主張は間違っていないのかもしれないけど。
今回は一歩引いて様子を見るっていう心持ちも必要かなと思う。
気の進まない仕事は、そのまま引き継ぐのではなく、自動化の提案をしたり、自分がやりがいを感じられるような付加価値をつけることを考えてみるのもいいのかもしれない。
