Are humans actually becoming slave to technology?

Technology is just like other things that has its advantages and disavantages. If a person allows himself be controlled by technology, they became a slave of it.

Since we are talking about becoming a slave technology, I will only state the disadvantages.

* It affects close communication with families. I saw a picture in social media who are in a restaurant. Instead of enjoying the meal, and grab the opportunity to communicate and bond with each other, all members of the family are using their phones. Yes, from father, mother, brother, sister, up to the small child.

* It can cause diseases due to excessive exposure to radiation. It can even affect ones' vision if used in a dark place especially before sleeping.

* It affects your social life because you are spending most of your time in the virtual world of social media.

* It can even affect you mentally whenever you read some posts in social media. It is even used by propagandists as well.

* It makes a person's life sedentary. Such lifestyle makes a person prone to diabetes and other related diseases.

We should not blame technology though because they can be useful in everybody's life. It's the people who indulge themselves to much with technology.
