Boat Trip Along the Bend

This is photograph of a street scene in Hungary from our short trip there last year. If I remember rightly this is in Esztergom. 😊

We took a day long boat trip along the river Danube bend and spent a few hours in this town.

Esztergom is the center of the Hungarian Roman Catholic church and its' basilica is the largest church in Hungary and third biggest in the world, (accordng to Wikipaedia).

The boat leaves from Budapest and calls into Visegrad, Esztergom and Szentendre.

It was a relaxing and fun thing to do on a hot summer's day and a great opportunity to get out of the city. I can thoroughly recommend it.

We had lunch in this pedestrianised street where every building was different but all were as beautiful as this one.
