Since May 9th, the Eventum public sale has been canceled due to an overwhelming interest in the private sale and more than 100,000 member whitelisted to participate in the alpha platform. To distribute tokens, Eventum has decided to reward the community through participation in more Alpha events, with the next one scheduled for May 11th at 7:00 pm CEST. The event is dubbed "Fake News Detection" and is a template that has been used before for a previous event in which the participant analyses a series of article headlines and determines which is fake.

The sign-up process is simple if you have already registered for the Alpha testing. To enroll in the event, make sure MetaMask is installed and your account is connected to the Ropsten test network. You will need some Test ETH in your account but this can be obtained for free through a faucet. If you have done this, the join button will be clickable.

Once the join button is pressed, a transaction will be sent to your MetaMask account for a small amount of Test ETH and once confirmed the transaction will be mined on the Ropsten test network. (see below)

After a brief wait, the transaction will be confirmed and you are ready to take part in the event. The reward of this particular event is 5 ETH and 150,000 EVT and will be distributed according to how quickly each participant provides the correct answer.

I have participated in a number of previous events and all have run smoothly with no major problems. The Eventum team have been working hard to prevent DDoS ensuring this upcoming event should be no different. All things considered, its worth a couple minutes of your time for free ETH and EVT tokens.
