With the progress in technology the methods of hiring the employees are also changing rapidly. In old days, the employers would advertise the jobs in newspapers and the jobseekers would then approach the employers with the documents providing required details such as qualification, skills and previous experience. It was a very cumbersome and lengthy procedure; the employer would have to personally interview a number of candidates and even then, very difficult to make sure if the selected candidate would actually meet the job requirements because it was almost impossible to verify the authenticity of the provided documents.

As we entered in the modern era of internet, the hiring practices also modernized, there are social networks like LinkedIn where the job seekers and recruiters can communicate with each other, the users add the value to the platform by providing very valuable content but they are not rewarded for the time and efforts they invest in doing so. The users, both individuals and businesses made their profiles available on the platform and as the data is added further, the value of the platform also goes up so incentivizing the participation of the users would ultimately add to the value of the platform.

The question is how and for what purpose the users should be incentivized? In hiring process, the resume will always be of key importance, it would remain the very first introduction of the jobseeker to the potential employer but we know that resumes usually contain false information regarding qualification and work experience. Spring Foundation has come up with a unique idea, building a Spring network where the users would be fairly incentivized with SPRING cryptocurrency. The blockchain technology has made it possible to integrate the attesters, employers and jobseekers, where every stakeholder would be incentivized, the attester would be rewarded according to the reputation achieved at the network.
