SpringRole is the Most Transparent and Reliable Attestation Mechanism
We know the importance of attestation in the hiring process, we also know the problems and flaws in the current system of attestation, its lengthy, costly and above all not reliable because the stamps and signatures can be forged and then in order to make sure that the attestations are accurate and free of forgery another round of verifications is required, that means a never-ending phenomenon. Spring is expected to provide a reliable and transparent attestation system of verified resumes. It is going to be a platform where individuals cannot only view and share the verified resumes but can acquire verification too, hence making it possible to create a verified resume that can be shared for job seeking and would also be available to the recruiters and employers for the selection of employees required for a certain skill.
An individual user’s profile consists of following three important sections:
Educational qualification
Job experience
Skill proficiency
Each of the above three sections will have a separate attestation system and as each section is verified, the result would be made available on the blockchain.
Once the above claims are verified they will be considered reliable for future use too with no need of reverification. The claims related to the educational qualification and job experience would be verified by the respective bodies which means educational claims would be verified by the university from where the user claims to acquire the degree and the work experience would be verified by the organization where the user had worked in the past.
The third section that is related to skillset is the hardest part to be verified. Spring network is going to provide a platform where the users will endorse the skills of an individual and the endorsement would be rated according to the rank of the endorser which depends upon the endorsements he or she had received in the past for a particular skill from other users. In simple words Spring will tackle this section of verification by crowdsourcing, as explained above, which is obviously a more reliable method than asking for tests and challenges to prove the proficiency because there is no way to standardize these tests and challenges under a central authority. I therefore believe Spring will provide the most reliable means of acquiring and sharing fully trustworthy resumes for fulfilling the new jobs.
