Essentia is Convenience

I have made more accounts on website and applications than I could ever remember and I can say that it’s difficult to keep track of all the passwords and account usernames. There’s the easy option of just keeping the username and password for everything but that is extremely dangerous. The way log-ins and sign-ups work is just not efficient, convenient, or safe.

The internet is expanding and the amount of websites and apps we’d have to sign up or log in to is going to keep increasing. The difficulty of keeping up with the accounts and passwords we set up is going to keep increasing. Also, as our data becomes more spread out across more and more companies’ data storage, the chance of our data being compromised or misused also increases. That’s why I’m surprised that a solution has taken so long to surface. Essentia wants to fight the problem of having to manage the sign ups and log ins across the internet.

You Get One Platform

Essentia gives every user a single platform which carries all the personal information of the user. Your information is secured, you are given an ESS-ID, and you have access to Essentia’s eLogin.

Essentia makes sure that your information stays safe because instead of you giving websites information permanently and your information being spread across the internet, a simple eLogin connected with your seed gives you the ability to easily connect to things on the internet and blockchain. Your information stays secure in one place but you get access to all websites and applications.

Another factor of Essentia is that it allows you to give information temporarily. Valuable financial or transaction permissions are at risk if permanently handed to many third parties. Instead, I can just use my seed to temporarily give any website or application transaction permission. This actually opens up the internet by removing fear borders. The many websites that I felt won’t be able to secure my credit card details properly are now a secure place to buy at because the transactions are possible without the websites having to permanently receive my information.

Essentia’s functionality concept just makes sense. There isn’t a need to give the same information over and over or to verify our information over and over. Once should be enough and that information should be accessible to whoever I give access to. This way my information stays secure and I do not need to manage dozens of accounts/passwords.
