THE CURRENT SITUATION OF COMMUNICATION SERVICES

The invention of Internet opened the new era of revolution of information technology. Internet has connected everyone around the world and erased the distance of communication. Through the communication network services, it is effortless to contact to anyone in anywhere.

However, the need of high quality services with numerous criteria is required increasingly. The existing technologies have not meet these requirements anymore. Thus, the new technology which is strong enough to satisfy those is actually necessary.

TOP Network, consisting of some existing services developed by Mr. Steve Wei and his colleagues, is being developed to address those problems as well as desired to replace the backward platform.

TOP NETWORK AND ITS FEATURES

TOP Network is a high-performance blockchain platform which offers the best fundamental platform for the communication services. By building on blockchain 4.0 technology, TOP Network aims to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second to meet the high volume of transactions causing by the numerous delivered messages daily. TOP Network also provides the multiple communication services based on the decentralized platform for TOP users such as VPN, VoIP, message, video call, live streaming, IoT Data Sharing, etc.

TOP Network combines several currently adopted technologies to invent the approach to handle the massive volume of transactions. TOP blockchain platform is constructed from the three-layer architecture: main chain, multiple service chains and the off-chain processor. “The main chain handles transaction settlement only, while service chains, pluggable and customizable, handle various types of business logic. Each business logic is processed on an independent, corresponding service chain. Transaction execution is pre-processed on the off-chain processors to reduce the workload on the ledgers.”

In addition, TOP Network TestNet has already handled over 80 billion transactions. This is a good starting point for TOP project and a real MVP as well.

TOP ECOSYSTEM

Inside the TOP ecosystem, there are two groups exist independently but inter-connectedly, community of communication services and community of blockchain platform. And the TOP token will be factor connecting two parties to create a comprehensive ecosystem. It is a mean of payment for transactions and fees of communication services as well as the rewards for miners and node owners.

To create the fair in rewarding to node owners, TOP Network has released the define of comprehensive stake, which is evaluated on a few of factors such as computing power of node, network capability of node, asset stake of node and reputation of node. This mechanism will eliminate the wealthy node owners who own a large number of tokens to earn almost rewards from node mining. The amount of rewarded token will be based on the contribution of each participant in TOP ecosystem.
