करके भी नहीं कर पाते। आचरण में एक ऐसी दिव्य शक्ति है जो दूसरों को स्वतकर्तव्य की ओर प्रेरित कर देती है। अत: माता पिता को अपना जीवन ठीक वैसा ही बनाना चाहिए जैसा कि वे अपनी संतान को बनाना चाहते हैं।

सकते हैं उन्हें सदगुणों के विकास द्वारा फीका किया जा सकता है। आज देखा जाये तो अपने समाज में कटु वाणी का प्रयोग इतना भयंकर है कि वह मनुष्य के हृदय को छेद देता है। अपने कुटुम्ब-परिवार और समाज में भी वाणी का प्रयोग करते समय यह अवश्य ख्याल रखा जाय कि मैं किससे बात कर रहा है। सामने वाला कोई मशीन नहीं है, रोबोट नहीं है, लोहे का पुतला नहीं है। वरन् मनुष्य है। उसके पास दिल है। हर दिल को स्नेह, सहानुभूति, प्रेम और आदर
की आवश्यकता है। इसलिए माता-पिता को शरीर,
मन और वाणी- तीनों में संयम रखना चाहिए एवं
सावधानी के साथ सदाचारी व समाज सेवी रहना
चाहिए।
संतान को योग्य बनाने के लिए माता का सुशिक्षित
होना परम आवश्यक है। प्राय: अपने समाज में देखा।
गया है कि जिस घर में माता शिक्षित व चतुर होती है,
उसकी संतान भी शिक्षितसभ्य एवं गुणवान होती
हैं। लड़कियों का जीवन तो पूर्णरूप से माता पर ही
निर्भर करता है। अत: माता-पिता को चाहिये कि वे
निरंतर ऐसी चेष्टा करें कि उनके बच्चे सदा-सर्वदा
के हृदय को छेद देता है। अपने कुटुम्ब-परिवार और
समाज में भी वाणी का प्रयोग करते समय यह अवश्य
