पीड़ित होता , वही भुगतता रहता है। उसके साथ हो रहे अन्याय के विरुद्ध कोई भी साथ देने को आगे नहीं आता है। हम भारतीयों की इसी उदासीनता के कारण ही हमारा देश हजारों वर्षों तक गुलाम रहा है। एक बात और पैसे वाला
और सम्पन्न होने में व्यस्त रहता है। जबकि गरीब निष्क्रिय रहता है। ऐसे में जब कुछ सेवा भावी लोग अपना तनमन व धन लगाकर समाज सेवा, संगठन व एकता का प्रयास करता है, तो अमीर व गरीब की निष्क्रियता का लाभ उठाकर फालतू लोगों द्वारा फालतू बातें शुरू हो जाती है। समाज की जरूरत सभी को होती है, परन्तु समाजहित के लिए समय किसी के पास नहीं होता। समाज हित के लिए जब भी कोई सेवा भावी आगे आता है। अपना समय देकर कुछ करता है, तो फालतू लोग सक्रिय हो जाते हैं। उन्हें ईष्र्याग्रस्त होने से
व्यक्ति की पहचान तो होती नहीं है। उनकी आंखों पर तो स्वार्थ व जलन का पर्दा पड़ा रहता है। आगे बढ़कर समाजहित में काम करने वालों की ये आलोचना तो खूब करते हैं। मगर स्वयं को, जब तनमन व धन से सेवा का मौका मिलता है, तब वे लम्बी लम्बी बातें करने वाले चूहे की तरह बिल में छिप जाते हैं। उनकी सारी हेकड़ी धरी रह जाती
है। फिर भी वे अपनी आदतों से बाज नहीं आते हैं।न वे स्वयं सुधरते हैं तथा न ही परिवार को भी सुधरने देते हैं। इसी तरह से ईष्र्याग्रस्त लोगों की पीढ़ियों की पीढ़ियां गुजर जाती हैं मगर उनकी जलन नहीं मिटती है।मानव समाज के कुछ धनी सेटों की भी यही सोच रहती है कि मेरे पास पैसे है, मुझे समाज से क्या लेना देना। में समाज के पास क्यों जाऊँ, समाज को गरज होगी तो मेरे पास आयेगा। ऐसी सोच वाले
लोगों का पैसा भलाई के काम में कभी काम नहीं आता है। इनका पैसा तो जुआ, शराब, रोग या अदालतों में ही खत्म होने वाला है।जब भी ऐसे धनासेठ दुनिया से जाते हैं तो उनके पीछे कोई रोने वाला भी नहीं होता है।समाज सेवा के लिए ऐसे सेटों से पैसा मांगने या उनके समक्ष हाथ फैलाने की
कोई जरूरत नहीं है।क्योंकि समाज सेवा के लिये जो भी देना चाहेगा। वो तो स्वयं ही आकर दे जायेगा। समाज सेवा करने वाला स्वर्य के लिए तो पैसा नहीं माँग रहा है ।वह तो दूसरे जरूरतमंद के लिए प्रयास कर रहा है। उसके प्रयास में सहयोग देना तो दूर लोग आलोचना कर उसे निराश करते है। समाज सेवक को तो शांत भाव से सेवा करते रहना है। दुखी और अशांत मन तो उनका होगा, जो गलत काम करते रहते हैं। याद रखिए। इस बेईमान दुनिया , आप ईमान पर डटे रहिए। कोई आपका कुछ भी नहीं बिगाड़ सकता है। यह
दुनिया उनके लिए है, जो ईमानदार है, जो अपना अमूल्य
समय देकर दूसरों की सेवा करते हैं। समाज सेवा में समय देना ही, समय का सदुपयोग है। क्योंकि सेवा करना प्रत्येक के भाग्य में नहीं होता है। आज हमारे समाज में भी बहुत से भाई, समाज सेवा में व्यस्त है। वे अपना सब कुछ दे रहे हैं। वे जलने वालों की कुचेष्टा भरी बातों को झेलकर भी, समाज
सेवा में तनमन व धन दे रहे हैं। समाज हित में पूरा सहयोग दे
रहे हैं। हमारे समाज का भी थे। कर्तव्य है कि वह ऐसे लोगों को पूरा सहयोग व समर्थन देवें। हम ऐसे समाज सेवी भाइयों को समाज की ओर से धन्यवाद देते हैं तथा उनकी सफलता की कामना करते हैं। हम सब तन, मन व धन से उनके साथ है।
