Meera Bai - Saint Meerabai

The authentic documents related to the life of Meera are not present and the scholars have tried to create the life of Mira according to the incessant literature and have presented some incidents of their life. According to him, this Rajput Rani was born in about 1500 (around 1498) in Rajasthan of northern India.

His father, Rattan Singh Rathore, was the ruler of the small Rajput kingdom Kudki, District Pali, Rajasthan. His mother died in the childhood of Mira and Meera was the only child of her parents. He had done a lot of exercise on music, religious, political and government.

Their elderly parents had raised them, who were devotees of Lord Vishnu. Despite not wishing, in 1516 Meera was married to Bhoj Raj, who was Prince of Mewar.

In 1518, her husband died in a battle between Hindu and Muslim. Only a few years after the death of her husband, both her father and father-in-law died, her father and father-in-law died during the war with the Islamic army of Babur.

After the death of his father-in-law, Vikram Singh became ruler of Mewar According to famous writings, his in-laws had tried to hang Meera several times, while offering glass and adding glass of poison, he used to say that this is honey and he used to send snakes in a basket full of flowers. . According to transcript writing, Meera has never suffered any harm from all these things.

According to other archaeological elements, Vikram Singh had also asked Meera to drown himself, on his say, Mirabai had tried to do this but found herself swimming on the water.

According to another story, Meerabai left the Mewar empire and became a pilgrim. In her last years, Mira lived in Dwarka, Vrindavan. According to historical scholars, he had devoted Krishna in 1547.

More Information about Meera Bai history

According to another archaeological sources, Mughal ruler Akbar had once met Mira with Tansen and gifted him as a necklace, but according to the scholars, 15 years after Mira's death, Tansen had joined Akbar's court in 1562.

Similarly, according to some historical stories, Sant Ravidas was the master of Meerabai, but there is no historical document related to it, and if there is a sight, then there is a difference of about 100 years in the birth of Saint Ravidas and Meerabai.

Together, these three separate events were known and it was decided that Meerabai's life was 16th Century and 150 years after Meerabai's death, it was all written. Since there is no information related to his marriage to his childhood and Bhojraj in history, there is no description of such a royal royal family in history.

In history, we see the difference between the Rajput rulers and the Mughal empire. But in view of the biography of Meera, it appears that the historian scholars have molded the life of Meerabai according to their imagination. After many years of his death, he was written about the events that took place in his life.

In history, we see the devotional songs of Saint Meera Bai but there is no information related to them. It is said that Meerabai dedicated his life to Hindu God Krishna. Due to the devotion of Krishna, he sang hymns and songs, it is said that most of the songs were sung in the time of Bhakti Abhiyan.

Meerabai was a saint of Bhaktikal whose everything was devoted to Krishna, even to Krishna she respected her husband. Such a form of devotion we get to see very little. In the childhood of Meerabai, such an image of Krishna was sitting, from the time of adolescence to death, he had given Krishna everything he had.
