Do We Really Need a Live Fish Aquarium?

A couple of weeks back I posted this post and asked you to guess what was into making through the pictures.

Actually those were the pictures of replacing a live fish aquarium with an artificial fish aquarium and releasing the captive aquarium fishes at a safe place for them.

My friend @chetanpadliya is trying hard to replace all live fish aquarium in our city with artificial fish aquariums. He wants to make Udaipur to be known as the first city of artificial aquariums in India.

Since many have requested to post videos of artificial aquariums, I'm going to post some videos of artificial aquariums that were installed by us to encourage their use by citizens. To start with people who are compassionate towards suffering of aquarium fishes are taking initiative to replace their aquariums with these artificial aquariums.

Of course, at the moment, these artificial aquariums ain't as lively as live fish aquariums but they have their own advantages. These aquariums are maintenance free. We don't need to feed fishes every day, provide continuous electric supply for air pumps & filters or to regularly clean and change water. These are just install it & forget it kind of decorative pieces.

However we are trying to make them as good as live fish aquarium if not better; by implementing new designs and technology and introducing more sophisticated movements in fishes. Today, we have perfectly designed replicas of beautiful marine fishes which people adorn so much. People hardly install a marine aquarium as it needs more maintenance and is very costly compared to fresh water fish aquarium. Since our city is far away from coastal area, people find marine creatures as exotic as compared to tropical fishes. Such people can enjoy all benefits of marine aquarium with these artificial aquariums at a fraction of its cost.

Not to forget that all these come with cruelty-free architecture that gives peace of mind when there is a power outage or you are traveling. No fish suffer for your hobby. And without any algae formation, these aquariums look more beautiful with clear view from all angles.

Later on the restaurant owner received a very positive feedback for this aquarium. Later he decided to replace it with a bigger one:

I know these are not the best videos but I'm not used to taking videos ...and it took a lot of time for me to figure out how to upload these on YouTube ...LOL!

I just wanted to give some glimpses of it here. Will try to take better videos some other day.

Please suggest to improve the set up of these aquariums if you have any good ideas.
