Met a Senior Steemian From India Whose Talent Continues to Shine Everywhere
Hi friends,
Yesterday, I met an old friend @himshweta who is not active on Steem for some months due to her ill health. I'm glad to inform you all that she is keeping fairly well these days.
But whenever she used to get on Steem, her health used to deteriorate. So she has been advised to keep away from computers.
So she has chosen to utilize this time to recite her poems in public events. She started with some local poet circles, open mics etc. and her talent was immediately recognized. So she was invited to recite her poems on curated stage.
Recently, she was given audience at several reputed institutes and college fests like IIT - Delhi & BITS Pilani. Now she has several events back to back on her list.
As I told you that I'm on a visit to Delhi these days, so we found some time to meetup yesterday evening.
She invited me to one of her performances. It was my pleasure to see her perform live in front of a large audience. Her work and talent is being appreciated and recognized by one and all.
Still, she hasn't forgotten Steem platform and long to return back to Steeming as soon as her health stabilizes.
I thought to share this with you people as many of her friends miss her presence on Steem and since there is no update from her on her blog for long.

Very true. Her writings and presentations touch everyone. Common man can easily relate to the way she raises, deconstruct, probe and explain the current social mindsets and issues.
