Memang benar tentang kabar mengenai ada sesuatu yang tengah ditutup-tutupi dalam kehidupan mbah dirkun. Namun tiada satu pun tetangganya yang mengetahui akan hal tersebut, bahkan istrinya sampai akhir hayat belum pernah diberikan rahasia yang dimilikinya.
Berbagai desas desus warga desa kian santer dan menyebar, menyudutkan seorang mbah dirkun, sang petani misterius.
"Kayaknya si embah ini punya ajian sakti, atau bisa jadi ilmu pesugihan dengan amalan-amalan tertentu.." Berbisik salah satu warga kepada temannya di sebuah warung kopi.
Hal inilah yang membuat si bungsu terkadang tidak nyaman. Menyebabkan trauma dan kandasnya hubungan asmara yang pernah dia lakoni dengan seorang pemuda.
