The economist Luis Vicente León, Venezuelan analyst connoted believes that there are no conditions for a successful political negotiation between the opposition and the government of Nicolás Maduro, but stressed that without it "there is no possibility of solving the problem."

But Venezuelans, we ask ourselves, will not this be another strategy of the government to buy time and mock the opposition again in any negotiation? Clear. But the key question is: what is the opposing force to prevent the government from achieving it and how to pressure it to give in and change?
But other analysts believe that the articulation of the opposition is fundamental to avoid the outcome of an eventual negotiation being unsuccessful, as the previous dialogue processes, after discarding an armed military intervention from the outside and rejecting the effectiveness of the sanctions generals of the international community against the national Government.
But we Venezuelans do this series of disturbing questions:
If there is no negotiation, what is the alternative? Are the Marines coming? Do we have the strength to win a war against the government? Are autocratic governments over by general sanctions? Did abstention work for us? "
Unfortunately the answer to all of them is a resounding "NO"
How to put pressure on a regime that has no respect for the law, nor for citizenship, nor for the human condition, nor for the economy, not even for the most basic logic. Negotiating with the street turned off is useless?
The opposition (political leaders) and the government are part of the problem, 20 years playing with a people, dead between part and part. Winners? The government losers? The town, that is why the trained and studied population goes out of the country, regardless of starting from scratch.
Unfortunately there is no serious opposition here, neither statesmen nor economists to trust, all manipulate and in the end they also live from this perverse system and regime, in addition to the opposition has nothing to pressure the government, the opposition does not exist in Venezuela, the Government has nothing to lose and of course will negotiate placing everything in their favor. Here the only losers, we have been and we are the Venezuelans.
The Force, the force is the people in the street, articulated and led by a leadership, which unfortunately does not exist. That is our great tragedy in this historical moment. The lack of intellect, of skill, of morals, of courage and balls to face this misfortune.
I would like to know which opposing force will be able to pressure the Chabestias, because those who pretend to be opposition will only laugh at the jokes and drink whiskey in those supposed dialogues.
I see it difficult for a society without the ability to organize, to achieve a political change, the politician does his job, which is politics. There will be no political change if people do not change their attitude.
Philosophizing where water enters the coconut, I think we will be surprised by a great social explosion of unpredictable consequences. There will be no governability in negotiated exit, it would be a wrinkle run. This Model is sold out, we are adrift.
