Propaganda puppets unite

I captured this picture of the elusive propaganda puppet the other evening whilst out for a walk in the city. Normally these pesky things are only found on the television reading the news propaganda off a script however I was fortunate enough to come across this one live and in the flesh in the propaganda factory, otherwise known as the newsroom.

You can see this one practising his predetermined dialogue of propaganda in readiness to deliver it to the sheeple who tune in each evening at 6pm. From there the sheeple go away fully informed lied to and on into their lives feeling empowered with all the information they need to base their decisions on.

I stopped watching the news and reading newspapers years ago preferring to seek my information from more reliable sources. One of the things that prompted me to do so was the fact these propaganda puppets feel its ok add their opinions to the smelly, runny shit they dribble with endless raised eyebrows, pursed lips and other gestures together with smart quips about the stories they just read from their propaganda pages. Hey puppet, just read the script and don't imprint your own bullshit opinions upon the sheeple watching you read your propaganda.

But alas, ultimately it's the sheeple's fault for turning it on in the first place. If no one actually tuned in the propaganda machine would break down and eventually they would have to seek other means of spreading their shit.

I think many people enjoy the feeling of knowing what's going on around them however I question the relevance of news services to most people's lives. In my opinion it falsely empowers people to feel informed and knowledgeable when in reality they are simple receptacles for an endless barrage of propaganda designed to control, influence and destabilise a person and their decisions...And sell advertising space. These days I believe there's better ways to obtain good, factual information in a more timely fashion. Or not. It's a choice we all must make. Be a sheep(le) or not.
