Differences between the SAA Soldiers and the USA Soldiers

in #informationwar5 years ago

"How do Syrian soldiers compare to American soldiers?" Was the question sent to me on Quora Q & A Wiki platform, and I had dozens of thoughts instantly crossing my mind to draw the comparison, but when I started writing the answer many slipped away, but I believe I did manage to outline some main differences in my answer.

A member on the Quora social platform asked the above question and below is my answer there:

There are multiple comparisons to be drawn here starting from the cause, weaponry, media coverage, battle-performance, morals, budget… etc.

We start with the cost to prepare each of the soldiers where a single US soldier sent to combats overseas would cost the US taxpayers approximately 1 million US dollars in training, logistics, weapons and goggles equipped with, comparing with a Syrian soldier costing a couple of thousands of dollars, including the weaponry and goggles.

The cause each soldier fighting for determines to a very great degree the performance in the battlefield, where the Syrian soldier is fighting to defend his country, his family, and his pride, where as the US soldiers are fighting to earn money, making US soldiers on foreign ground merely like mercenaries.

In battlefields we need to see US soldiers actually engaging directly in battles and not remotely with the support of their air force whenever needed who in turn will carpet bomb the entire land where the threats are coming from. Syrian soldiers, and their commanders have fought to the last bullet, fought face to face with the world’s worst army of suicide terrorists, and fought with bare hands when needed.

The Syrian Army has very moderate weapons, most of which are decades old, since it was mainly purchased from the Soviet Union, yet, they managed to maintain and upgrade most of it and keep it effective to an acceptable extent. Comparing with the US soldier using the latest most costly weapons they never got the chance to test it in real battles except from hundreds of miles far with remote controls mainly.

The Syrian soldiers do NOT enjoy the media coverage the US soldiers have, the latter have in addition to Pentagon’s mainstream media propagandists all of Hollywood and its capabilities for bolstering their image, on screens only, while in battles they lost each battle they fought man to man. The Syrian soldiers, however, do enjoy massive praise from local and regional media along with unbiased social media:

Watch this interview: Heroism and Bravery of the Syrian Arab Army - Hezbollah Top Official.

The entire Syrian defense budget is around 3 billion US dollars, pre-crisis figures, compared with the astronomical 700 billion US dollars in declared direct spending, matched up with approximately 20% more in covert operations, making the Syrian Army’s budget at 0.36%. Keep in mind the size of Syria is about the size of the state of Washington, ONLY, and over 65% of Syria’s land is pure useless desert.

Finally, PTSD cases among the Syrian Arab Army soldiers are numbered, literally, while among the US soldiers the ones not suffering PTSD are numbered as per medical records from both sides.

The SAA is a growing regional power, despite the massive losses during the past 8+ years of attrition fighting back the War Of Terror the US and all its stooges combined waged against their country, which caused a fundamental organization shift in the structure of the SAA from a centralized Army corps to much more mobilized units operating separately under general guidelines and procedures, making them more formidable and resilient in the face of new threat to the country. We can’t say the same about the US Army.

We also do not see US army commanders in front of their troops on the ground despite the imminent threat to their lives, and even after losing it. Many SAA commanders of the highest ranks martyred during the battles with US-sponsored anti-Islamic Wahhabi suicide bombers.

Martyr SAA General Issam Zahreddine, protected 130,000 citizens in the city of Deir Ezzor for over 3 years despite being besieged from all sides by thousands of ISIS, and despite that the US Air Force bombed his position killing up to 92 of his subordinates in an hour long strike which helped ISIS terrorists take control of a strategic mountain overlooking the city.

Syria might be the only country in the world that lost 2 of its defense ministers in combat, the first stood up in an unequal battle with the French invaders in 1920, and the second was killed in a terrorist plot engineered by the French ‘intelligence’ and supervised by the CIA from within the US embassy in Damascus in 2012 along with 5 other highest commanders of the Army and Security including the SAA Chief of Staff and the head of General Security.

There’s no other army on this planet that is battle-hardened in all conditions, in all terrains, in all sorts of symmetric and asymmetric warfare, alone, with brethren allies, and with friendly allies on the ground, in the air, under ground, over water beds, in mountains, in desert, in forests, urban warfare, injured and carrying remains of their colleagues yet defending their bases, topped up with cleansing of moles, immune to media manipulation and propaganda, immune to political pressure and seductions from abroad, at the height of the US’s war of terror in 2013 in Syria some Syrian officers of the rank of Colonel and below were offered up to 5 million dollars to defect, and the ones who did were in hundreds only and didn’t cause any serious threat to the structure of the army, and that has all been proven within the past 8+ years.

You might not like the above, but we’re talking about real wars fought which we have hundreds of examples of, and not some fancy propaganda on the mainstream media in studios.

End of my answer there

I might sound proud and praising my country's army in my answer above, can you blame me? For some I might sound as biased, we have documented and posted thousands of posts, videos, images, even tweets with supporting evidence to everything I mentioned above. Many can be found on my site Syria News.

US army does have a problem with their morals. they have slogans on their tanks making them proud about killing. some pictures leaked on social media were about them posing with a persons head. they are more triggerhappy and many see them selfs as superior. their military budget is inefficiently spent on hightech weapons and a recent report found out that in a war between china and USA, USA would loose despite its higher military budget. I cant really point fingers because in europe the military budget is spent even more inefficient because we are constantly pressured by USA to increase our spending up to 2% GDP which was a nato standard from cold war time.

what i do like about the US army is they have this mentality of sticking together and are more willing to engage in battle compared to european ones. in afganistan there were cases where german soldiers were left behind in a sticky situations by their army unwilling to send rescue helicopters while the area was not yet secure, while US soldiers had no problem with that and ended up rescueing german soldiers. they also send the US soldiers in more dangerous areas compared to european soldiers.

US soldiers fight to defend the interests of the Anglo-Zionist Bankers and Industrialists, while the Syrian soldiers fight for their families, culture and country to survive.

This was the most scandalous act of the whole Syrian war until now. All of those who were involved in this, from the pilots dropping the bombs to those who planned and schemed and ordered this crime, all the way up to top scumbag Obama should get death sentence.
