'Screens are Poison'- Tech Elites Keeping Devices Out of Their Children's Schools

The Digital Gap Between Rich and Poor Kids
Is Not What We Expected

America’s public schools are still promoting devices with screens — even offering digital-only preschools. The rich are banning screens from class altogether.

QUOTE
After a New York Times report highlighted that Silicon Valley tech elites are keeping digital devices out of the schools of their children, Tucker Carlson said on Monday they're doing so because they know that "screens are poison."

Author and psychotherapist Tom Kersting said on Tucker Carlson Tonight that the idea that digital devices will benefit students has now proven to be "absolutely false."

Tech elites (that includes technical people like coders, not just the 'Bill Gates' of their world), you may have noticed, have been very careful to keep quiet about this danger to our children. So has the MSM (MainStreamMedia).

We can easily understand why they want to save their own children, but had you thought of all of them as being so mean, that they would keep the threat from you, so that your child is damaged or commits suicide?

SUGGESTION: After reading above articles, I think you'll have a fairly good idea of what you need to or can do to give your child a chance at growing up normal and a more all-rounded personality.

However, do not forget that much of the damage is caused by them spending non-school hours in front of a screen. Try limiting the time allowed and organise for them to be busy doing other things, whether sports or other hobbies.

It may require that you join them so as to make them feel enthusiastic about what they are doing - if so, then not only your kid benefits, so do you...for it means you will be spending more time with your kid(s) and also you will get to know each other better.

I try to keep my daughter away from screens as much as possible, so she does art classes after school, and loves them (won first prize also, the ceremony is tomorrow.) Then she has physio twice a week to correct her back.
Plus sax and guitar lessons by me. :-)

TV makes morons, 60 years of proof is all we need to see, and we have seen it. Superb article pops.

lol, you are the first person I've met who plays the sax!!!
I;m old enough to have lived through the heydays of big bands and jazz - but neither enraptured me. Jazz, having grown up in Africa, was just too similar to the local music - and I never saw the locals as 'noble savages', just mostly poeple I had little in common with. I prefer a good bouzouki or an Italian playing a mandolino.

Thanks and I'm glad you've got your head screwed on the right way....hmm, have you? Can you ask your daughter to look closely and check for me?

you are the first person I've met who plays the sax!!!

Seriously? lol.

And she says yes, it is on the right way round, most of the time. :-)
